Anthony J LoweApril 8, 2024.We spent Easter Weekend at the Ballina beach resort - we expected it to be overcrowded being Easter - well they were busy but at no time did we feel inconvenienced or disturbed. The resort is well run and tidy - they are about to build a new pool and play area. Nice bar and restaurant ( coffee machine!!!) and short walk to an almost deserted beach. Close to other walks beaches and restaurants - all in all a great stay. The tented accomodation looks like it's out of an African safari very elegant and with full ensuite etc. We will be back!Danni ZhaoApril 7, 2024.Absolutely fantastic stay at the resort! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless and cozy, providing the perfect retreat after a day of beach adventures. With the beach just a stone's throw away, the location couldn't have been better. Bike riding to the breakwall, kayaking, push bike riding on the surf beach, day at the beach ⛱️. Oh man what a great spot 👌 wish we had longer there 👍Elle RuddApril 2, 2024.We stayed here for 4 nights on Easter long weekend, on an unpowered camping site. My husband, myself, our 3yr old boy and our dog. This was our first proper camping trip as a family, and this place exceeded all our expectations! The thing that I was most impressed with was the genuinely friendly and happy staff, no question or task was a burden for them, always greeting us with a happy smile and willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you so much to all the staff!! Other reasons we loved it here: 1. Beautiful shady campsite with bush land behind us - peaceful and sounds of nature. 2. Braziers for hire!! Being able to cook over the campfire really elevated the experience! 3. A 5 min walk to the beach! 4. The park being dog friendly was amazing! Plus only a short drive to the Missingham dog friendly beach! 5. 1 lovely new amenity block, I believe the older blocks are being upgraded this year. Still it wasn’t far for us to walk to the newer one. 6. Restaurant quality breakfast lunch and dinner at the cafe! We only had dinner there once, but so impressed with the menu and quality of food! Our dinner was delicious. 7. The Easter activities organised for the kids were an absolute delight and surprise. From kids club activities to Easter egg hunts, colouring competitions and even a visit from wildlife presenters and their animals! Our son absolutely thrived! 8. Lovely pool area, and looking forward to coming back when the new pool and water slide kids park is complete! If you’re thinking of going camping with facilities this place ticks all the boxes!!! We stayed in one of the luxury tents with our dog, and it was perfect. The dog friendly park was amazing and very accommodating. The tents were incredible and had all amenities we needed and were nice and cozy and comfortable. Service was amazing and we enjoyed dinner and cocktails at the Turtles Cafe. It is a little drive away from anything exciting, but the location is made better by it's serenity away from town and short walk to the beach. We found all of the staff to be amazing and friendly and welcoming. Great coffee too! We will definitely be back 🙂
