GOOD Based on 938 reviews Posted on Louise Petrie Ballina Beach Nature Resot is a true gem. It is in a beautiful location. Wonderful sized sites and amenities spaced out nicely to cater to the large area. Beach access and out of the hustle and bustle location makes it a perfect getaway. The new camp kitchen, pool and slides are a huge value add. Being pet friendly is an understatment. I was so impressed with how well the park catered to pet families. Ours loved it there and the vibe was awesome. The best thing about the place is the friendly atmosphere created by the staff. I mused while we were staying there that perhaps being privately owned allows for the persoanl touch many holiday parks lack. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Staff member Collin approched us to check we were all sorted, we had completed the online check in and thought reception would be closed when we arrived, so the warm welcome was apprciated. On the grounds we were always greeted by staff members Aaron and Matt (and another gentleman whos name I didn't catch but who worked hard to keep the pool clean and was engaging on our early morning walks with our dog). They were always friendly and polite and often checked in to see if we needed anything. Aaron made sure we had anything we asked for which made our stay seemless and enjoyable. This was impressive service as the park seemed to be very busy. Their energy and engagement is worth praising. Inside the reception/cafe (which has a great lunch and dinner menu and delicious coffee/chai) we were always greeted with smiles and wonderful service from Georgia who was an absolute delight! Georgia was able to build a raport with my whole family, meaning my kids felt safe approaching and asking for help from the staff - this is a huge blessing when on holidays as it meant we could relax! Ash and Collin were particularily helpful when I made a mistake changing my booking which lead to a premature moving of my caravan. Collin actually came and assisted me as my husband was off site and Ash checked in on me to make sure I was ok and all went smoothly. So many reasons I could keep typing to talk about why we loved this resort.Posted on Kate Krebs Thankyou for our stay we and our grandson had fantastic time. He was on the go the whole time 🤗 my only thing was the dump point was not real good 😞🤗 but we will be back 🤗Posted on Tida McDonnell We booked an unpowered camping site. The space was great. It was both family and pet friendly (the reason for us choosing here). The kids loved the pool and slides, we had to talk them away from it to do other activities from time to time. As it's a nature reserve around the resort, if you want to take your doggie to the beach, it is not a far drive north (via ferry) or south to find one. Otherwise they had an offleash area for your fur baby if you don't want to move around. Being able to blend camping with available activities for the kids and some usual amenities (such as new shower block facilities and camp kitchen) made for such a great stay as we had a blended group of tent, trailer and cabin bookings. Reception/cafe staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful and essentials and good food available on site. We only had a couple nights, wish we could have stayed longer.Posted on John Waterfall We booked a family glamping experience - 3 tents for 6 nights. The location and site were ideal with plenty to do for everyone. The kids enjoyed the pool and water shutes and everyone enjoyed the cycle and walking trails. The staff were friendly and helpful.Posted on Corinne Leiper Our first experience of glamping and the kids love it. The wind was a pain on the first night as the tent was quite loud. The amenities were really clean. The kids loved the pool area and it was a short walk to the beach.Posted on tom burke 2nd time at Ballina Beach Nature Resort. Always another nice surprise. We stayed in the 3 bedroom cabin near the pool area for three nights. It’s great. Clean tidy with everything we needed. As always the staff are very friendly which is great as I like to have a chat. They are very knowledgeable of the local area and enjoy helping. We were a bit lost as to where to set crab traps, “Right across the road” was the advice and hey presto a few throw backs and a keeper size male. Our first mud crab as a father son team. Being the lead into the long weekend and school holidays it was busier than the last time we stayed. The staff, grounds and facilities can definitely handle the pressure. We will definitely be back. What a great holiday resort!!!! I can’t rate Ballina beach nature resort high enough. It certainly earns the resort in its title. Everything is either new or updated with quality and comfort in mind. From the pool surrounds and gardens, the roads and all the amenities. The camp kitchen equipped with fridges, kettles, toasted sandwich makers, a 6 burner BBQ , ovens and gas 4 burner stoves which resembles something from better homes and gardens. You won’t find, put another coat of paint on it, she’ll be right mate here. Pool and water park, score 10/10. There is no shortage of activities to keep everyone of all ages entertained. The bike track for the peddle power go carts the sand pit and volleyball, the table tennis and ofcourse the licensed cafe for adults. Great playlist from the sound system around the pool. Staff are very friendly, hardworking and accommodating. A lovely walk to beach where we saw a Wallaby, crabs, birdlife and from what we are told neighbours Macaws one red and one yellow, which was a big surprise. We camped towards the western side of park. The grass is green, soft and level, void of rocks, sticks and needed no clearing to set up. Even with some moderate rain there was no mud or puddles and the rain drained away quickly. It’s easy to notice that the owners and management of Balina beach nature resort really care about the enjoyment of their guests. Thank you Ballina beach nature resort 10/10. We have enjoyed our stay so much that we will definitely be regulars.Posted on Ray O'Sullivan Went camping solo for a couple of days to recharge after Christmas etc. Eating, fishing and napping :) Its a lovely park with great facilities. Might take the dog next time as it is very dog friendly. I'll be back!Posted on James Massola Can't recommend enough. You get what you pay for. This was the fourth time I've stayed with my family at the Nature Resort and we've been delighted every time. Our first three times we camped on powered sites, this time we had a three bedroom bungalow as we arrived late after a car breakdown and a week-long repair. I had to change our booking twice - pushing it back a week and then bringing it forward a day - and we weren't charged any ridiculous fees. No matter who we spoke to, we could change the booking efficiently and quickly (after dealing with a vaguely weird Ai first when we called). Worth staying at. The kids loved the waterslide.Posted on Leigh Bradley We went to South Ballina Beach resort for our daughter's birthday. What a wonderful place to stay. Staff could not be more friendly, sites were large and level, amenities were clean and modern. We were having some nice nibblies and drinks near the camp kitchen when 2 macaws flew in to say hello. What a magnificent sight. This place is a wonderful place to relax and recharge.Posted on Lorie Stone Awesome place to holiday with kids! Beautiful glamping tents, with short walk to the beach, lovely pool area, cafe and great amenities for kids. Loved it!
